We replace your stock (Variator) and fan with Our
Exclusive DR2 Performance Variator for the GY6 150cc.
This 115mm pulley is a state of the art masterpiece!
Also designed by us in house and patented in the USA, the DR2 (Dual Ramp) packs a universal punch for Scooters, Buggies and ATV's and does it brilliantly!
No need to trade your top end for torque any more!

The DR2 kit comes with a:
115mm fixed fan,
Dual low/Hi ramped variator,
Backing plate with quality nylon guides and
-9g, 10.5g, and 12gram roller sets to provide a quicker jump off the line and a better top end!

How does it work?

The 2 different angled ramps makes all the difference! (Also notice the little lip on one end of our boss pin. That's another little tweak we did with this variator).

Put your (3)-light weights included in the kit, in the 3 ramps marked "L" (Light angled) and your (3)-heavy weights in the "S" (Strong angled) Ramps.
Now you have your take off AND keep your top end too!
Additional weight options available for even more tunability!


While 3 weights are giving you your takeoff speed, 3 weights are working up the ramps to start closing your variator halves to get ready for top end. Once the other 3 weights catch up, you shift into your top speed range which is now higher because you can carry more "total" weight without slowing down the whole process! The 2 different angled ramps helps keep more low end longer then makes that transition into top end smooth and hearty.
The DR2 offers a greater push that you just can't get with any other variator!
There's nothing else that comes close to it and it slides on and bolts right up in just a couple minutes!
  You can even run Sliders or even a mix of rollers AND Sliders and the angled ramps will get you tuneability like no other!

This kit will fit Most GY6 150cc scooters, Mini Buggy, Gokart and ATV's with a CVT type transmission.

Will it fit?
Our boss pin,
(tube that goes in center of the variator and over your crank shaft, pictured below.)
measurements are:
27mm O.D.
15mm I.D.
51.5mm long
and our fixed outer fan is 115mm (this 115mm fan can get you even more top end if yours is slightly smaller just be sure 115mm will fit in your case.

Some European "Kick Start" models will not work with the DR2. (They have teeth on their variator).
We also know this Will not work on the 2009 Rhon JM Star 150 scooter. Their shaft and boss pin are thicker in diameter than most. (157QMJ-A motor).

Our shorty clutch center hole (The flat sided, oval hole that goes over the rear pulley and is held on by the large flat nut) is:
24.5mm (.965") from the flat side to flat side. This will fit the standard GY6 150 in most cases but check to be sure.
